Deploying an Application
This section describes how to deploy an application in Microsoft AppFabric 1.1 for Windows Server. To import an application into AppFabric, or export one from AppFabric, you can use the Web Deployment (Web Deploy) command-line tool for IIS. The Web Deploy tool synchronizes Web sites and Web servers. It simplifies the process of deploying, managing, or migrating Web applications, sites, or servers. The Web Deploy tool enables you to deploy an application, share it with others, version the application, or create a backup.
To manage WCF- and WF-based services on a farm, replicate application files manually between computers. No farm-deployment tools for AppFabric currently exist in IIS Manager.
