Features in the Aug 2023 release are enabled for users running in the monthly channel with build 2308.1. Early validation for this release is available starting with build 2307.1.

Try the new look

Over the last 6 months, we’ve given app makers the ability to preview a modern, refreshed look for model-driven apps, enabling the latest in theming, fonts, colors and more. Apps in monthly channel will now have this on by default and end users will be able to switch this on for themselves.

Admins can also choose to defer the new look experience for a single app by turning off the “Try the new look and feel” app setting. Apps with this setting off will continue to look as they do.
