Assign a control tip to a control

1. Select the control.

2. In the Properties window, select the ControlTipText property. You can also set the value of ControlTipText through code.

3. Enter the string you want to use as the control tip.

Tip

To assign a control tip for a Page or Tab, use the Rename command on the shortcut menu of the Page or Tab.
