How to get healthcare data solutions in Microsoft Fabric

To use healthcare data solutions in Microsoft Fabric, you need the following licenses, prerequisites, and permissions:

  • A tenant with Microsoft Fabric enabled. To enable Fabric on your tenant, contact your Microsoft account team. For more information, see Enable Microsoft Fabric for your organization.

  • A Microsoft Fabric paid license. Alternatively, you can also try the solution using the Microsoft Fabric trial license.

  • Administrator permissions to create a new workspace and artifacts in Power BI.

  • To access Copilot features in the discover and build cohorts (preview) capability, you must have a paid Fabric SKU (F64 or higher, or P1 or higher) with capacity available in the Fabric regions.

  • To deploy the Azure Marketplace offer for healthcare data solutions in Microsoft Fabric, you need:

    • An Azure account and subscription. If you don't have a subscription, sign up for a free Azure account before you begin.
    • Access to create Azure resource groups.
    • Access within resource groups to create and edit resources and Marketplace solutions.
    • Compliance with security guidelines from your Azure administrators and organization policy.

  • Healthcare data solutions in Microsoft Fabric require appropriate Microsoft Fabric licenses and capacities. The Azure Marketplace offer for healthcare data solutions in Microsoft Fabric is dependent on the Azure services deployed with the offer.

  • If you're an existing healthcare data solutions in Microsoft Fabric preview customer, we recommend you to create a new Fabric workspace and deploy the healthcare data solutions general availability (GA) instance to this new workspace. Redeploy any capabilities that were previously used in preview versions.
