Parameters

The string in which to locate s2.

The string to locate in s1.

Returns

String

The characters in s1 that occur before s2, or the empty string if s1 does not contain s2.

Remarks

Locates a substring (s2) within a string (s1), and returns the characters in s1 that occur before s2.
