XmlText.SplitText(Int32) Method

Definition

Splits the node into two nodes at the specified offset, keeping both in the tree as siblings.

public:
 virtual System::Xml::XmlText ^ SplitText(int offset);
public virtual System.Xml.XmlText SplitText (int offset);
abstract member SplitText : int -> System.Xml.XmlText
override this.SplitText : int -> System.Xml.XmlText
Public Overridable Function SplitText (offset As Integer) As XmlText

Parameters

offset
Int32

The offset at which to split the node.

Returns

The new node.

Remarks

After SplitText is called, the original node contains all the content up to the offset point. A new node of the same type contains all the content at and after the offset point and is inserted as the next sibling of the original node. When the offset is equal to the length of this node, the new node has no data.
