Multiplies two specified Decimal values.
public:
static System::Decimal Multiply(System::Decimal d1, System::Decimal d2);
public static decimal Multiply (decimal d1, decimal d2);
static member Multiply : decimal * decimal -> decimal
Public Shared Function Multiply (d1 As Decimal, d2 As Decimal) As Decimal
Parameters
- d1
- Decimal
The multiplicand.
- d2
- Decimal
The multiplier.
Returns
The result of multiplying d1
and d2
.
Exceptions
The return value is less than Decimal.MinValue or greater than Decimal.MaxValue.
Examples
The following code example creates several pairs of Decimal
values and calculates their products with the Multiply
method.
// Example of the Decimal::Multiply, Decimal::Divide, and
// Decimal::Remainder methods.
