FormListControl.setItem(FormListItem) Method

Definition

Indicates whether an item is contained in a form list control.

public:
 virtual bool setItem(Dynamics::AX::Application::FormListItem ^ _item);
public virtual bool setItem (Dynamics.AX.Application.FormListItem _item);
abstract member setItem : Dynamics.AX.Application.FormListItem -> bool
override this.setItem : Dynamics.AX.Application.FormListItem -> bool
Public Overridable Function setItem (_item As FormListItem) As Boolean

Parameters

_item
FormListItem

A FormListItem object for an item in a form list control.

Returns

true if an item is contained in a form list control; otherwise, false.

Remarks

The following example shows a call to the setItem method to determine whether each item is contained in the form list control. The while select statement retrieves account numbers from the CustTable table and then stores the data in a container. The items in the variable are added to the form list control by calling the FormListControl.addItem method.
