Article: Deep-Dive on Movie Maker and DVD Maker in Windows Vista
I've just published a new article detailing my interview of Chris Hugill, Group Program Manager responsible for the Movie Maker and DVD Maker apps included in Windows Vista. Chris led me on an expedition within those two apps, describing to me some of the thinking behind their design and development while also outlining the Windows Vista-specific improvements that his team has made. Chris was also good enough to provide me a few pix of the applications so you can get a better idea of how the UI looks in each.

Some questions: :-)
1. Will there be an MPEG-2 codec included with Vista? Decoder too? Licensed from whom?
2. In what format is audio encoded by DVD Maker?Anonymous
