Apologies if this is OT, comments on the most relevant post are closed.  I'm looking for fee information on hosting Windows 8 Desktop Applications in the Windows Store.  I understand that this classification of app requires it own fulfillment and sales resources, and that the App Store links to an external site where this can be done.  In these cases, does MS still extract a 30% fee?  If you could provide a link to where this information is clearly stated it would be most helpful. thanks

As far as I know, Microsoft does not extract a 30% fee for hosting desktop applications.
