Join the Game On Virtual Event
Games are a key class of apps in the Windows Store. If you’re looking to build a Windows Store game, we’d like to help you with this virtual game building event. The event is free and open to both new game developers and professionals.
We’ll be using GameMaker: Studio from YoYo Games, to show you how to create and publish high-quality games in less time. GameMaker:Studio has a lot of great built-in design options and drag-and-drop tools that make it easy to get started even if you don’t have a game idea or development experience just yet. However, if you’re a more experienced game developer, the advanced tools help you to create a one-of-a-kind game experience.
The online event begins on Saturday, June 15th, 10 am PDT, with a launch session and live chat. You’ll learn about different game types and how to add graphics, levels and sound to base games, while exploring ways to make the game your own. Support continues throughout the week with one-on-one assistance through the GameMaker forums.
Whether you’re a student, first-time developer, or seasoned pro, this event can get you started creating, uploading, and publishing games to the Windows Store. Learn more, sign up, and check out the free tools and resources at https://msdnevents.com/gameon/.
