Top Contributors Awards! Mega busy week @ TechNet Wiki - Also Exchange Server 2013, Windows Root Certificates, SharePoint 2013 and more!
Welcome back for another analysis of weekly contributions to TechNet Wiki over the last week (Fri-Sat)
Firstly, here is the weekly leader board snapshot:
This week I saw some of the biggest numbers for a long time.
Activity has really picked up lately, and there is a real sense of activity across the whole community.
Below are the results of a mega-crawl over the updated articles feed.
Most Revisions Award Who has made the most individual revisions |
Yagmoth555 is first, with 272 revisions over 253 articles!! Mind boggling!
This wins Yagmoth a special Wiki-Legend badge (an imaginary one) Wear it with pride!
Ed Price - MSFT comes second this week, with 95 revisions over 50 articles.
Richard Mueller comes third again, with an 70 revisions over 54 articles.
Most Articles Updated Award Who has updated the most articles |
Yagmoth555 is first, with 253 articles!! o_O Wow!
Richard Mueller comes third again, with 54 articles.
Ed Price - MSFT comes second this week, with 50 articles.
Most Updated Article Award Largest amount of updated content in a single article |
The article most updated this week is How to create DAG in Exchange Server 2013 by Gulab Prasad.
This great new article shows how to "Create and Configure Database Availability Group (DAG) in Exchange Server 2013 RTM "
Thanks for all your work, a great addition.
Longest Article Award Biggest article updated this week |
The largest article to receive some attention this week is Windows Root Certificate Program - Members List (All CAs) originally started by Tom Albertson MSFT
This document nearly broke my crawler, it is so huge...
It is a complete list of WRCP Certificate Authorities.
"Back by popular demand – here is the comprehensive list of all CAs whose root certificates are distributed via the Windows Root Certificate Program"
Most Revised Article Award Article with the most revisions in a week |
The article to receive the most revisions this week is SharePoint 2013 Best Practices by wiki legend Margriet Bruggeman
It was saved 16 times this week, as Margriet worked on it, plus a small but always welcome formatting contribution from Arun Kumar Arora
This is a truly legendary document, detailing the best practices for Sharepoint 2013, which I highly recommend everyone even slightly interested in Sharepoint should bookmark.
Smallest Significant Edit Award Size isn't everything! Every edit counts. |
Ignoring the addition of tags, this week's smallest but valuable tweak was to Breadcrumbs shows wrong URL by Pratik Vyas [MVP]
Firstly, this article is also a great example of what we encourage everyone to use the TechNet Wiki for.
If you learn anything new today, or tomorrow, please post it in a short article on TechNet Wiki and help future generations learn from your own experience.
Pratik's edit was a simple typo correction, which however, shows his commitment to quality contributions and earns him this week's special contributor award (no prize, just love)
Thanks again for everyone's amazing work this week, especially Yagmoth.
And let's hope we see a lot more content like Pratik's
Best regards,
Pete Laker
