Who are you, where are you, and what do you do? What are your specialty technologies?

Hello Everyone! I'm David Rendon (Dave Rendon) from Mexico City, currently serve as technology adviser and business driven results to both prospective customers and representatives of currently assigned client accounts at KEMP Technologies. Specialist in enterprise data and applications management in cloud environments, often provide support to Microsoft Partners worldwide on technical guidance and Azure training deliveries. Have had the opportunity to meet great peers and friends from all around the globe from India to Argentina!

What is TechNet Wiki for? Who is it for?

TechNet Wiki is a very useful platform not only for IT Admins, Developers but for Every person who is involved in some way within the IT ecosystem on their daily work where we find thought leadership on best practices, helpful workarounds, guru competitions and guidelines for Microsoft products.

What do you do with TechNet Wiki, and how does that fit into the rest of your job?

I'm finding TechNet Wiki to be very helpful by reading and writing wiki articles. As personal MBO I spend couple of hours per week on Wiki articles and MSDN blogs to get the most fresh technical content related to cloud and hybrid integrations. TechNet Wiki is definitely a great community source to stay current with evolving technologies.

In what other sites and communities do you contribute your technical knowledge?

On what articles have you collaborated with other community members on #TNWiki? What was that experience like?

The most recent article was with Syed Shanu about working with Azure IoT - https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/wikininjas/2018/04/03/tnwiki-article-spotlight-azure-and-iot/. Despite it might be a brief article, it was a great experience to meet Syed and collaborate together.

What could we do differently on TechNet Wiki?

With regards of the monthly contest, consider updating the monthly award category, over the past year there's been a lot of Microsoft updates on products/solutions and a lot of articles that fit a single category could come across different solutions.

Who has impressed you in the Wiki community, and why?

No need to mention Ed Price! Kamlesh Kumar, Ronen Ariely, Syed Shanu, Peter Laker, Peter Geelen, Rajesh Menoth. All of them, in my humble opinion, really love what they do but also show a great respect for each other contribution in the Wiki. In general all community members provide outstanding content to the Wiki.

What does success look like for TechNet Wiki?

Success in Technet Wiki means to contribute with high quality content that will certainly help others to better perform their daily tasks and provide the best possible technical solution for their problem. I hope to guide others in empowering this great community with my contributions, that's how TechNet Wiki success looks to me.

      I love his tips for new TechNet Wiki author "Before you start writing get two cups of coffee" :) and he mentioned a very useful article to read first before start writing an article in TechNet Wiki.
