Great Feedback for Code Camps!

I was just about to walk away for the evening and I saw this great email from Marcia. I think it goes to show the spirit of the Code Camps in general and how great the community is as a whole!

Many thanks for this weekend.

Besides the sharing of technical knowledge, Code Camp 4 was particularly welcome this year because it provided a sense of comradeship and continuity after such a difficult month for such a vast number of people.

These are hard times in many respects - the long, continued decline in programming jobs, the so-so economy, the war, and especially the after-effects of Katrina.

It's good to be with "our tribe", even for a couple of days. All of our speakers and especially you as the organizer deserve thanks for your commitment to the community.

I'd be grateful if you could please forward this email as you see fit.

    Wow. A perfect sentiment to a good weekend of friendship and learning. I could not agree more with Marcia's comments on the great service to the community.

    This was my first Code Camp and I look forward to future events. I have attended other events hosted by you and am amazed at your ability to bring people together.
