Packaging issues with Visual Studio Team Services – 7/28 – Investigating - IE

We are actively investigating issues with Nuget publisher and Nuget installer build task failing in multiple regions.

Customers may experience that installing packages succeed, but subsequent steps cannot find the installed packages. Customers may also experience a failure to install packages with an error message: “Package contains multiple nuspec files”.

During this issue customers may not be able to use package tasks with release management .

Work Around:

  1. Release management issue:  Customers can set the Agent.BuildDirectory variable in the release definition to $(System.DefaultWorkingDirectory)
  2. For others issues: Customers can specify a path to a different nuget.exe in the task in the build definition as work around.
