Most digital agencies and website development firms have been founded by youthful, passionate programmers, designers and entrepreneurs seeking a goal that once achieved provide them a ‘lifestyle’ business. Very few understand or have even considered an exit strategy until this stage.
This session is aimed at discussing way in which business owners and managers of digital business can create value through the development of intellectual property, client portfolios, and sustainable and renewable revenue streams that underpin improved business valuations.
It will address tactics, techniques and ideas that build barriers to price driven competitors, methods for exploring and developing Intellectual Property that can be commercialized and other ways in which tangible value can be created and sustained.

This April, Australia Post, with the assistance of Edge, launched Australia Post’s Business Lounge, a content-driven business portal designed to stimulate the small and medium business (SMB) market. The objective was to position Australia Post as a credible partner for SMBs, with the overarching purpose of acquiring new customers, cross-selling Australia Post’s products and services, and increasing brand awareness.
