Queensland Government has released a wave of new data sets for developers to utilize & launched a major apps competition the Premier's Awards for Open Data.

on Saturday 31 August to listen to guest speaker Dr Rufus Pollock and participate in interactive panel sessions specific to transport, social services and Queensland’s economic pillars.

The event will also provide a great opportunity to network with like minded people and to form teams for the 2013 Premier’s Awards for Open Data.
