Description of the ISA Server 2004 hotfix package: July 27, 2006

The hotfix package fixes the following issues:
- 922946 (https://support.microsoft.com/kb/922946/) When ISA Server 2004, Standard Edition receives lots of requests, the program stops responding to requests
- 923322 (https://support.microsoft.com/kb/923322/) A large file download fails when an ISA Server 2004 SOCKS client computer uses passive mode FTP
- 922899 (https://support.microsoft.com/kb/922899/) An ISA Server 2004 Web chaining rule may not redirect requests to the specified port
Hotfix information
A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next ISA Server 2004 service pack that contains this hotfix.

Prerequisites
To apply this hotfix, you must have ISA Server 2004 Service Pack 2 (SP2) installed on the computer.
Restart information
When you install this hotfix, the following services automatically stop and then restart. Additionally, any dependent services also stop and then restart.
- Microsoft ISA Server Control
- Microsoft ISA Server Job Scheduler
- Microsoft ISA Server Storage
