Just in case you didn't think the XBox was gaining popularity in Japan... Here's a line of people waiting to play on the streets of Akihabara.

    Oh how I miss my time in Japan!!! Akihabara is a techie "must visit" if you are ever over there.

    Gaining popularity? Are you kidding? This weeks sales figures:

    PlayStation 2: 47,391 (Annual: 1,007,891)
    Game Boy Advance SP: 40,166 (Annual: 1,012,066)
    GameCube: 6,263 (Annual: 327,663)
    Game Boy Advance: 3,701 (Annual: 121,001)
    Xbox: 557 (Annual: 17,057)

    That photo loks suspiciously like one guy playing Xbox and a bunch of others milling around looking a displays.
    I also miss my weekly trips to Akihabara :(
