MDAC-MS Access - Deprecated Jet Engine

- Starting with MDAC 2.6 Jet is no longer shipped as a part of MDAC.

- MDAC 2.5 SP2 had complete install of Jet Components. Recommended to upgrade to 2.6 or higher from this version.

- Versions prior to 2.6 shipped Jet engine msjet40.dll, and MS Access ODBC Driver (Jet Interface) odbcjt32.dll

- Installing latest MDAC may be perceived as a remedy to allow client machines to connect to a Jet database

- Bad MDAC installations may cause problems creating DSN's or initialising Jet Provider.
