Private Cloud Case Study - National Bank of Kuwait Eases Data Center Constraints by Building a Private Cloud

National Bank of Kuwait wanted to move from mainframe technology to a model based on Windows, but power limitations prevented the use of the hundreds of servers it needed. To achieve their goal within the constraints of available power, they implemented a virtualized solution based on Windows Server 2008 R2 Hyper-V technology, consolidated 75 percent of their infrastructure, and developed a foundation for a private cloud.
