Restricting Access to your Web Services
When you choose to make your default Web site or selected Web services accessible to the Internet, you should be aware that the IP permissions are set to allow access to all IP addresses. You can, however, configure your Web sites or Web services to grant or deny specific computers, groups of computers, or domains access to sites, directories, or files.
For detailed information about restricting specific IP addresses, read the topic "Securing Sites with IP Address Restrictions" on the Microsoft TechNet Web site.
