Developer of the Week: Brady Merkel

Although I am a little late for last week- yes, this “Developer of the Week” is actually for the week of October 14th-18th- I want to highlight Brady Merkel as Developer of the Week.  I was actually looking for a Windows 8 app to showcase, but I came across Brady’s “Biorhythm Fun” app for Windows Phone and couldn’t resist!  So, here it is…

“Biorhythm Fun” is a free Windows Phone app that uses the concept of biorhythms to “explain the ebb and flow of our physical, emotional, and intellectual body cycles”.  Just in case you aren’t familiar with the idea of biorhythmic patterns, there is a very handy FAQ page built into the app that gives you all of the necessary information to understand what the beautiful and colorful graphs (pictured below) mean.

After downloading this app, I find myself checking it daily to predict what kind of day I will I have.  For example, today, I should a very strong day intellectually and emotionally, but unfortunately, it doesn't appear as if I will win my rec soccer game tonight, given my very low physical graph.  Oh well, I’ll still promise to try hard, team!

All in all, “Biorhythm Fun” is definitely worth looking into.  It very beautifully displays your strengths and weaknesses for the day and many to come on a very smooth and intuitive graph.  Not to mention, you can add several people’s info as well.  Lastly, I’ve heard there are many more features to come (Facebook integration, compatibility, team biorhythms…just to name a few), so keep your eyes out for new updates!
