Quentin Speaks with SharePointRecordsManagement.com

Recently I had the opportunity to do an interview on SharePoint Records Management with Don Lueders over at https://www.sharepointrecordsmanagement.com. Here are a few of the things we discussed:

  • How can records managers leverage SharePoint 2010 or 2013 to meet changes in the industry?
  • What strategies do successful records management solutions follow?
  • Does SharePoint Records Management require custom code?
  • How are organizations applying Information Management Policies?
  • How are organizations managing eDiscovery to prevent claims of spoliation.

Head on over and to check out the full interview: SharePoint Records Management.com Speaks with Microsoft Program Manager Quentin Christensen.

Hi Quentin, I enjoy your blogs on the compliance topic, I hope this question comes through.
On SPC14 in March you presented with Astrid MCClean the new Office 365 Compliance Center. Most compliance features for Exchange and SharePoint Online would be presented from that Center. It was also featured in the keynotes with Julia White's presentation. Since it was only demo with screenshots, attendees were promised a release in 'Q3 2014'. This is still not presented in the new Office 365 Roadmap (http://office.microsoft.com/en-001/products/office-365-roadmap-FX104343353.aspx#). Is there any new development here?
    Cheers
    Eric
