Deployment–PDT update for System Center 2012 R2 now available

PDT has been updated to support the general availability release of System Center 2012 R2 and Windows Server 2012 R2.  PDT 2.5.2507 is available here.

Note that Downloader.ps1 is no longer able to download evaluation versions of System Center 2012 R2, Windows Server 2012 R2, or Windows Server 2012.  You should manually copy the installation media for those to the appropriate folders in your source location before running Downloader.ps1, e.g.:

C:TempSystemCenter2012R2AppController

C:TempSystemCenter2012R2ConfigurationManager

C:TempSystemCenter2012R2DataProtectionManager

C:TempSystemCenter2012R2OperationsManager.en

C:TempSystemCenter2012R2Orchestrator

C:TempSystemCenter2012R2ServiceManager

C:TempSystemCenter2012R2VirtualMachineManager

C:TempWindowsServer2012

C:TempWindowsServer2012R2

For Windows Server, it is not necessary to copy the entire media – just setup.exe from the root folder, and the entire sourcessxs folder are required.

    Great update Rob.   One small note.  It seems that you must have a license key to get DPM to install.  So the eval wont work for dpm. Davey

    It would be nice if the download included some instructions. It's a pain to chase down all of the blog articles

    @Ed - Instructions MMS 2013 - channel9.msdn.com/.../SD-B302 TechEd 2013 - channel9.msdn.com/.../MDC-B322 Its also a pain chasing down all the prereq's, binaries, how to's for install & integration...a little of your time up front for the indirect savings you'll get back is worth it IMO.

    Davey - DPM has different media for evaluation versus licensed, so you need to use the appropriate media depending on whether you use a license key or not.  No license key, use evaluation media.  License key, use license media.
