===========

The Same command can be used for Office Communications Server 2007 R2 too, by changing the query string here:

PS C:\Users\Administrator.CONTOSO> Get-WmiObject -query 'select * from win32_product' | where {$_.name -like "Microsoft Lync Server*"} | foreach {$_}

From: "Microsoft Lync Server*" to "Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2*"

    Excellent post ! Here is a slightly tweaked command that displays the data in table format for easier reading: Get-WmiObject -query 'select * from win32_product' | where {$_.name -like "Microsoft Lync Server*"} |ft Name, Version -AutoSize

    Is there a powershell command, or SQL script that can be run to determine version of the OCS/LYNC/GC databases?
