Fix: Error "Could not load file or assembly" when integrating Opalis with System Center Operations Manager 2007
After importing the Operations Manager Integration Pack for Opalis and attempting to build a workflow using one of the related Objects included with the Integration Pack, the following exception may be raised:
"Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.OperationsManager, Version=6.0.4900.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified."
Cause
The System Center Operations Manager 2007 Operations Console must be installed on each computer where an Opalis Action Server or Opalis Client is installed if the Action Server or Client interact with System Center Operations Manager.
Resolution
In order to resolve this issue simply install the Operations Manager 2007 Operations Console on the Opalis Integration Server machine. Point to the System Center Operations Manager 2007 installation media, click the SetupOM executable and select the Install Operations Manager option to install only the console.
Hope this helps,
