OneNote at Connect() 2015

Here's hoping you can join us today and tomorrow for Connect() 2015! This year's Connect() hosts both live events and recorded videos. You can watch OneNote's own Vijay Sharma in the Connecting to OneNote in the cloud with Office 365 APIs video, as he walks you through a code demo that saves and shares business contact info in OneNote and Outlook.

Here are the big highlights for the OneNote API:

  • OneNote API support for Office 365 is now generally available. You can now access personal notebooks stored in OneDrive for Business, SharePoint site-hosted notebooks, and Office 365 group notebooks using the ../api/v1.0 route. That's right, Office 365 groups! We added groups support to expand your reach in the Office 365 connected experience. Learn more in the blog post.
  • OneNote support (in Preview) in the Microsoft Graph API. You can use the single endpoint provided by the Microsoft Graph API to access enterprise notebooks on Office 365. Learn more in the blog post.

And our roadmap for the next six months:

  • Webhook notifications for changes to consumer notebooks
  • Live OneNote pages embedded on a website
  • OneNote Add-ins
  • Better tools to showcase apps
  • More samples

Thanks for joining in! The OneNote team will be online during the event to answer your questions. You can ping us directly at @onenotedev, ask questions on Stack Overflow, or post to UserVoice.
