In the second article, I think, you’ll find one possible origin of the belief that Microsoft will try to “Lock people In” to their file formats, etc.

    Yep, you're right. - how long do you think he'll keep having the energy to come out with this stuff? It's good stuff.

    The longer, the better. First history, and now we're getting a peek at what's going on. I'm really enjoying Chris' writings, even the non-Word stuff.
