Have listed below the awards and criteria that Partners can submit entries for. To submit your entry please download and complete this entry form, then email it to nzawards@microsoft.com before 5pm 31st August 2007.

The Partner Awards are:

 

Software Solution of the Year

 

Mandatory Competency ISVMobilityCustom Dev
Description Partners must have a channel based model which supports their primary focus of developing software for commercial resaleorPartners must focus on delivering customized solutions developed with Microsoft software and development tools.
Criteria
Alignment of a software solution with key horizontals:
  • Business Intelligence
  • Enterprise Content Management
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Engineering and Finance (Strange bedfellows!)
  • Accounting and Human resources
Clear description of the Microsoft products on which the ISV solutions depend upon.Case study or industry/customer reference that clearly articulates the business benefit for the customer
Project must include at least one of the following products:
  • Windows Server 2003
  • Windows XP/2007
  • Windows 2007 Professional
  • Windows for Pocket PC
  • Windows for Smartphone
  • SQL Server 2005
  • Visual Studio 2005
  • Commerce Server 2002
  • MBS ERP Product (note that the Partner must be providing a solution that integrates to an MBS product)
Products that have gained any of the following will be reviewed more highly:
  • Certified for Windows Server 2003
  • Verified for Windows Server 2003
  • Designed for Windows XP Gold Test
  • Verified for Windows XP
  • Certified for SQL Server 2005
  • Verified for SQL Server 2005
  • Designed for Windows for Pocket PC
  • Verified for Microsoft CRM
  • Designed for Windows for Smartphone
  • .NET Connected Logo Test

Partnering Award of the Year

 

Mandatory Competency

All Certified Partners

Description

Project could contain the following:At least one Certified partner – partnering with another organisation, association to deliver value to a Microsoft customer

Criteria
Criteria that will be assessed but not limited to:
  • Two Certified partners building a complete solution from two different competencies
  • One of the certified level partners can be either a Small Business Specialist partner or a Registered member
