OWC control make IE slow

When owc has many data in it, the user may suffer slow browsing speed to another web page.

The more data it has, the slower IE browse.

This problem occurs from IE persistence.

This is what I heard from another person in Microsoft.

[Dan Ricker] This is an IE persistence thing. Consider the case where a user is browsing between page A and page B where Page A contains an OWC control and Page B is some other page.

                  User navigates to Page A

User makes changes to the OWC control on Page A

User Moves to Page B

User uses IE Back button to Return to Page A.

In this case the user will expect Page A have all the changes that were initially made to the page/control. To do this, the controls save the entire current control state. In the case of 10,000 rows of data, that is a lot to "persist" so the user is happy when they return to the page and see exactly what they left.

I don't think there is a way to turn this off (or, at least I don’t remember a way).
