We have seen a lot of interest in the Visual Studio 2008 Rhythm Training Kit over the last couple of weeks which provides lots of cool presentations, demos and samples for Visual Studio 2008 RTM to get you started.

 

However to make it even easier to get started, we have put together a Visual Studio 2008 Training VPC (using Vista) for download on the Microsoft.com Download center with everything already installed.   You can find links to download the self-extracting files for the VPC here.

    Hi Neil,   Great idea, but I'm not going to blog about something that will expire in less than two weeks. A lot of people actually have some time to play with new technology around the holidays - I know I do. Extending the VPC expiration until the end of the year would get you more participation. :{> Andy

    The idea of the VPC is to give a developer a quick look at all the tools running together on their own machine. We also plan to keep the image that is on MSDN fresh.
