December Favorites | Blogmas#4

These are my favorite things for December. The categories are Apps, Device(s), Miscellaneous

Apps - These are my appsolute favorite apps for this month! Not in any particular order.

6 US TimeZones Clock

This app is straight to the point. With its clean and easy-to-read layout I can easily and quickly check time zones before scheduling meetings with teammates across the country.

Jay's USA PST-CST-EST Clock

This app is a great addition or alternative to the previous app, if sometimes you only need to check Central, Pacific, and Eastern Standard Time. I love the way that the time fills my whole screen.

NBA Players

I'm a little (very) rusty on my knowledge of the NBA roster, so playing this matching game totally helped me brush up on who's who. All you have to do is match the name to the pictures, but with a time limit to up the fun level even more!

Zeez

Zeez is a visualizer that features cool psychedelic water colors that shift and form new patterns upon touch interactions. I found this app particularly soothing when I was having trouble falling asleep with my jetlag.

Device(s)

Hands down, the Dell Venue 8 Pro Tablet. I have heard and read extremely positive reviews about this 8" HD tablet. It has an 800p display as well as a 1.2 MP front-facing lens for taking quality photos, as well as a 5 MP rear-facing camera that you can use for video chatting with family and friends.... or taking selfies! It also supports the use of a stylus, so that you can hand-write notes and later convert them to text. Super useful for professionals to take notes in meetings, or I could see students using this for taking notes in class. The Microsoft Store have done a couple of sale promotions but each time I was too late and they were sold out! That's saying something, right?!

Miscellaneous

My random favorite for this month is pet costumes. With the cold weather and the fact that it is the holiday season, it's pretty much the perfect excuse to put your pet in something adorable. I've also seen an abundance of pet outfits the last time I was at Target and Walmart, so I'm almost certain that I'm not alone on this thought. Here are some photos of my family and friend's precious pooches.

Tried any of these apps? Dressed your animal up in something they hated? I'd love to know! Comment here, Facebook, or tweet at me @stopNgoh
