Requirement

Projects in which are contracted providers for certain tasks are. These projects have a budget and a plan billing as time passes or that the supplier meets some milestone in particular.

Required:

• Manage overall project budget..
• Identify the billing milestones.
• Establish a billing plan.
• Record the progress of the billing.
• Breakdown of costs by provider.
• Analyze costs quarterly.
• Analyze the costs of the project portfolio.

Part I

In this first part we propose how to manage costs within Project Professional. In a second part, we will see how it can exploit information from PWA 2010 for analysis by supplier or portfolio.
