Microsoft Switzerland TechDays 2016 Client Developer Session Highlights

Happy New Year, dear newsletter readers!

2015 has been a year of many interesting changes and news for client developers on the Microsoft platform. With Windows 10, we have introduced one Universal Platform for apps running on any device with Windows 10: from IoT to the phone and to the desktop. With Bridges you can pack websites as Windows 10 apps and convert your iOS Objective C app into a native Windows 10 app. Windows 10 has also made it very easy to create your own Internet of Things clients running the same Universal Windows apps while interfacing with your hardware and sensors. The new Application Lifecycle Management tools of Visual Studio 2015 and Visual Studio Team Services, the Office365 store, the Enterprise Mobility Suite and the Windows Store for Business make it easier than ever to create and manage applications and devices for the enterprise.

For TechDays 2016 we have carefully selected top speakers to present these topics in various sessions, including Laurent Bugnion from IdentityMine, long time MVP and father of the MVVM light framework, Marc Müller from 4tecture, ALM aficionado and MVP, and many more.

We are proud to announce that Craig Dewar, Senior Director of Product Marketing in the Windows division at Microsoft Corporation, will be hosting a keynote on “Windows 10 is made for Enterprises”. It highlights how Windows 10 simplifies the work of IT Pros and developers, shows key innovations in areas like security, management, deployment and outlines the new Windows Business Store.

TechDays 2016 will take place February 29 and March 1st in the Trafo congress center in Baden. It's the largest technology event from Microsoft in Switzerland for 2016!
