Three Screens? Does it matter?

A while back I decided to set my lock screen on my Lumia 800 (with the WP 7.8 update) to the Bing homepage wallpaper. At the same time I downloaded the 'Bing my lockscreen' app on my Surface. This, along with a few other apps, have tied my phone, tablet and laptop together subconciously in a way I only notice when I really think about it.

This was not something I ever experienced with ios, perhaps because I didnt have a Mac? But needless to say it feels personalised to me and convinient and gives me the same look, feel and content no matter what shape or type of device I am using.

What we need to complete this is a unified app store across both platforms ...... word on the street is that's coming!

Anyone else loving the three screens feeling? Anyone doing something similar on ios or android?
