Today June 28, 2011 will be a big day in History. The Cloud goes mainstream with the release of Office 365!!  Steve Ballmer, our CEO here at Microsoft was in New York City to announce the worldwide availability of Office 365, our next generation of productivity service.

Office 365 is the culmination of more than 20 years of experience delivering world class productivity solutions to people and businesses of all sizes. It brings together Office, SharePoint, Exchange, and Lync in an always-up-to-date cloud service. Customers may try it and buy it at www.office365.com.

And for the first time, here is the final comprehensive list of the pricing options, ranging from individuals, small businesses, mid-sized businesses, “kiosk” users, all the way up to the biggest enterprises.   Yes it starts at $6 a month!!

On our home page I read this today:

“It's familiar Microsoft Office collaboration and productivity tools delivered through the cloud. Everyone can work together easily with anywhere access to email, web conferencing, documents, and calendars. It includes business-class security and is backed by Microsoft. I have been a beta Tester for over 6 months on it, and I love it. Every time I demo it to customers, they just love it.
