Windows Mobile SDK Documentation: Docs Update!
Good news everyone - the Crossbow SDK docs have been refreshed again. Here's a summary of what's new:
- Fancy new image map to aid with navigation
- New section on developing games
- New section on making apps work on different hardware variations
- New section on developing managed code
- New section on beginning developing
And much more! I'd love to hear your feedback. Thanks for all your comments on the navigation image map by the way, you helped shape it, and I'm delighted to see it going live. Now we'll see if it's actually useful!
Thanks!
p.s. Most of the content in this doc set is just as applicable to Windows Mobile 5, so feel free to use it as your main reference for development.

I like the image map - it's much more concise and readable than the conventional treeview approach to navigation.Anonymous

I like the new image map: this really helps to quickly navigate to the point of interest. I'd really like to see these docs made available for download so we can use them offline.Anonymous

The new documentation features are very useful. I think they make it easier for beginners to discover aspects of the operating system they may not already know about. The new diagrams and how-to sections should also make it easier to point people to applicable reference material when answering questions on online forums etc. I'd also like to see the updated documentation available for download. I do some of my development on a laptop outside of the office, so it would be handy to have access to the reference material while offline.Anonymous

Thanks Christopher - I'll put another check in the "wants local help" column. Now.. what format? PDF? CHM? :-)
