Windows Mobile Documentation: New Docs, New Samples, New Videos
I've not posted for a while, mostly because I've been busy working away with the rest of the Windows Mobile documentation team on creating a lot of new content, just in time for MEDC. We'll be releasing it in dribs and drabs between now and 8th May, and to get you started, here are are three video tutorials (or "eHowTos" as we like to call them) covering areas that we know have been causing stress to our beloved ISVs.
So make yourself a cup of tea, sit back, relax, and learn.
- Windows Mobile Security Model (Level 100)
- Using Setup Projects to Deploy Windows Mobile 5.0 Applciations (Level 200) NEW!
- Designing an Application for a Windows Mobile-based Device (Level 100) NEW!
Plenty more to come, keep watching!

I found the video covering the design of setup programs for Windows Mobile very useful - in fact a throwaway comment in there might well have solved a problem I've been having for a few days now (which isn't even on a WM5 project), so it was well worth the time taken to watch it.
However, the last video on the list (Designing an application, level 100) suffered from an all-too-common problem with these things, which was that the majority of the dialog from the presenter was simply reading out the text on the slide presentation behind him. I don't see any significant value in that myself, not least as waiting while the slide text is read out takes much longer than reading it myself. - Anonymous
