OneNote 2013 (and the rest of Office) now available
Just a quick note that OneNote and all the rest of the Office applications are now available for everyone. You can download the trial version and give it a whirl at https://office.com/try.
This is what we've been working on for the past little bit of time, so jump over there and let me know what you think!
Right now I'm going to jump over to Youtube and check out the videos we are posting there (I have not seen them yet) at https://www.youtube.com/OfficeVideos
Feel encouraged to send feedback our way.
Questions, comments, concerns and criticisms always welcome,
John

In the 2010 version I used to make extensive use of the drag and drop a file to OneNote, then insert as link (to save duplicating copies of files)... However this feature seems to have been dropped answers.microsoft.com/.../0c2bb0b6-7c73-4289-8f25-020faaba0027 Any idea what the thinking was here, or if there's a chance we may get it back? Do you know of any plugins that can replace it?Anonymous

Yes, we removed this capability. There are a few workarounds:
- Insert | Link - you can browse to the file there and add a link
- right click the file copy link to file and paste to OneNote Also, this thread may have a little insight: answers.microsoft.com/.../0c2bb0b6-7c73-4289-8f25-020faaba0027 John
