Launch of the Boston Challenge (April 20th)
For those of you in the Boston area here's a great way to have some fun outdoors, experience a unique Windows Phone event, and contribute to The One Fund benefitting the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing.
The Boston Challenge is the third of a number of location-based episodes (ala The Amazing Race) where you get to explore the city – the Prudential, Faneuil Hall, the Public Garden, and more – to solve clues, engage in friendly competition, get a little exercise, and enjoy the great city of Boston.
The official launch begins at the Microsoft Store in the Prudential Center at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 20th. From there, you’ll disperse – make sure you have your Windows Phone in hand (7.5 or 8) – and solve the clues as quickly as possible. The average time to complete is between two and three hours, and so around 3 p.m. participants will meet back at the store for refreshments and prizes.
RSVP here!
The Boston Challenge can be installed from the Windows Phone Store as a free version (in which you get the first two levels of the Boston episode), or as a full version for $4.99 all proceeds of which will go to The One Fund to benefit those most affected by the Boston Marathon tragedy.
