What do people think about Vista when they don't know it's Vista?

We launched a new site recently that may change some opinions of Windows Vista... we're calling it the Mojave Experiment. Take a look here. It's really interesting how people tend to believe rumors... kind of reminds me of High School! smile_wink

 

For those who are not aware - we launched Vista SP1 some time ago, and it's now more stable than ever. People still believe rumors...

 

So that I don't get a ton of comments - this page is done entirely in Flash, however we will have a Silverlight enabled version out soon.

    Unfounded opinions are plentiful and rumors are the only thing I know of that move faster than the speed of light.  I had an associates call me to warn me that Microsoft was about to discontinue Windows all together.  This was so ridiculous that I had no idea of where to begin dismissing the statement.  But after asking of the origins of this information I eventually found out that the rumors were based off of a misinterpretation of an article some one wrote on the Singularity OS from Microsoft Research ( http://research.microsoft.com/os/singularity/ ). I get the feeling that the correct information did not propogate back up the pathway that the rumor traveled through so quickly.
