If your Windows Mobile device came without Windows Live services you can now download the Windows Live for Windows Mobile client.  It doesn’t include Windows Live Messenger but does give you the ability to synchronise your Live Contacts, Hotmail/MSN/Live email and even post photos to your Windows Live Space.

You can download the client from HERE

Dear Allen, Microsoft is in bed with mobile operators... The telecoms don't want Messenger to be easily available, so that users don't bypass their overpriced voice plans to contact their friends. They also want to be able to charge a per-message fee for what is basicly free. Users already pay for GPRS/3G traffic, and the telcos want to charge that extra fee. Microsoft shooting itself in the foot again, and driving people away from WM. Even Symbian & Blackberry gets a Messenger client, but not WM! Disgraceful company, do not trust Microsoft.

Allen - Messenger isn't part of it as most operators have their own services that provide messenger and the reason they may have already removed Windows Live from the operator branded devices is because of that reason. The Windows Live Download is to ensure those customers who want to access their Hotmail and Space get that ability.

Jason Is this only for Mobile 6 or will it also work for Mobile 5? My wife has a brand new Orange SPV E610 (Dont ask!) and unbelieveably it only has mobile 5 and no live client. Cheers Mark.Lawton@bt.com
