Live Search Maps
Powered by the Virtual Earth platform, Live Search Maps adds custom enhancements to the base feature set to create an immersive user experience. Users have access to driving directions, local search, and traffic overlays (where available) as well as bird's eye, 3-D, and aerial imagery, creating an environment where relevant location information is easily found and shared.
Starbucks
The Virtual Earth platform powers the most popular section of the Starbucks Web site – the store locator. Starbucks takes advantage of the platform’s versatility to offer customers three kinds of location-based services: store maps and driving directions; searches based on in-store events and the ability to send an invitation, along with map, for a meeting at a store.
Coldwell Banker
Coldwell Banker boosts home search map feature usage by 300 percent with their innovative approach to online mapping, including:
- Intuitive and interactive user interface that uses the Virtual Earth platform
