"Thank You" email has been sent (UK developer launch)....for day 1 only

I can confirm that the "thank you" email has now been sent to attendees of the first day UK developer launch. If you only attended the second day, that email goes out at midnight tonight. Why? Different systems apparently.

So why is this important anyway? Because you use it to make your choice of software (either Windows Vista or Office 2007). So please look out for it and make sure you make your choice asap, there is a 7 day deadline for responding. After that it will be too late!

    Hmm, funny, I was at Day 1 - no email.  Where was the email registered, I mean, ughhh so tired.  Help!

    wat versions of vista will it be? i selected vista anywas but be nice to know wat version so i can buy the appropriate version for my other pc.. many thanks phil p.s. was a great day really enjoyed myself mike t was a great host

    You did kind of promise last week that we'd have some info by the end of that week, however nothing, can it really be that hard to see if 1000 have entered or not?

    As soon as I'm able to let you know, I will. I know it appears to be a simple thing and therefore people might wonder what the issue is...but bear with me. At least in part there are legal obligations that are slowing the process.

    Thanks for the prompt response Ian, I'll try to be patient! It is just that I am pretty anxious to try Vista for myself, so if I haven't won I don't want to delay buying it :)

    As luck would have it I've just received the data, I have posted a blog entry about it. Short answer is that we have reached the 1000 for Windows Vista, but not for Office

    Hi Ian, I too received the e-mail, and asked for Vista. Have I missed a e-mail stating if I got my choice ?, or should I take it if I havn't heard, I'll get my choice. ? many Thanks Ian /buckie
