Momentum is Building. New Releases are Coming.

Microsoft Dynamics GP had a strong first half of our fiscal year – we’re excited about the product that the Development team is delivering and the evolution of our Partner and ISV community.

The MSDYNGP development team has now adopted a 6 monthly release cycle – designed to enhance our new business proposition and bring incremental value to BREP customers on a much more regular basis. This commitment was demonstrated in 2013 with important releases in May and September delivering on our commitment to cloud, Azure and O365 The team will deliver again in CY2014 – delivering new identity management and workflow capabilities – together with our first companion apps. In Q4 we’ll see another major release – more functionality, more workflow, more apps and a Service Based Architecture that will be the foundation for the further development of Dynamics GP over the next five years.

The evolution of the Dynamics GP product is only part of the story – our channel is also going through a significant transformation. A new SMB team in the US has been created that will be dedicated to Dynamics GP and NAV. This new structure will enable us to work with our partners and ISV’s differently to help bring new ways to sell more.

We’ll be supporting our agenda for Dynamics GP with a range of readiness events and material throughout the year. These events include technical readiness but also includes breakthrough sales and marketing training. I’ve been through the RAMP training and it is by far the best training I have been to for sales and marketing. We are broadening this training to include all partners now that we have proven it works.

This year we will be a busy year for MSDYNGP. For updates on all events and launch communications keep watching the Inside Microsoft Dynamics GP Blog
