Global critical infrastructure supplier uses Microsoft SDL to reduce cyber attack risk - 7/11/2011 - Computer Weekly

Great article on a company that organically implemented the Microsoft Security Development Lifecycle (SDL) on their own using our SDL process guidance and tools. To learn more about the Microsoft SDL, visit our website.

“"Microsoft was really the only organisation that was addressing the issue of secure code as part of its Trustworthy Computing (TwC) initiative," said Ernest Rakaczky, program director of control system security at Invensys Operations Management.

He was impressed with TwC's security development lifecycle , which is aimed at providing processes to help organisations develop code that is inherently more secure.”

Thank you Georgeo. Invensys Operations Management firmly believes in incorporating a strong SDL process when we generate application codes that are controlling Nations Critical Infrastructures. Not only does that mean higher quality code that is more secure. It also means that we can have an everlasting impact for a more secure critical infrastructure.

Great job, guys. It's clear you gave careful thought to the adoption and implemenation of a software security assurance process such as the Microsoft SDL to protect critical infrastructure against cyber attacks.
