Exchange Server 2010 SDKs March 2010 Update
I’m pleased to announce that we’ve just posted updates for many of the Exchange 2010 SDKs, and even added a new one! When the SDK team isn’t publishing those massive Exchange Server protocol documents, we spend our time updating the SDKs, and this March we have a great pre-spring bunch of them. Be sure to check the What’s New sections for information about what’s changed in the SDKs, and the Title pages for what’s new in that technology area. You can now find these new and updated SDKs:
- Exchange 2010 Management Shell SDK —This is a brand-new SDK, containing reference material for the .NET types that are passed back and forth by the Exchange 2010 Management Shell cmdlets. This new SDK will help those of you who are looking to make that move from advanced scripting of Exchange management operations up to full-on C# .NET programming. This is an initial release, so expect to see lots of updates to this one in the future!
- Exchange 2010 Web Services SDK — We’ve updated this SDK with more of your favorite XML- and generated-proxy-based programming information.
- Exchange 2010 Transport Agents SDK, Exchange 2010 Outlook Web App Customization SDK, and the Exchange 2010 Back and Restore SDK — We’ve provided additional documentation and minor changes to some of the types in these SDKs.
- Guide to Exchange 2010 Development Technologies — Includes updated information about the different Exchange development technologies, and new information about the Transport Agents, Text Converters and MIME parser, and the new Exchange Management Shell SDK.
We’ve also published a new Exchange Developer Center article: Working with Time Zones in Exchange 2010 Web Services.
We hope you find all our updates useful in your development work. Be sure to keep up-to-date with the latest Exchange development news on the Developer Center, at https://msdn.microsoft.com/exchange.
