What’s coming in Management Reporter 2012 RU4?

In the next few weeks, we will be releasing Management Reporter 2012 RU4, following our cadence of smaller, more frequent releases. For this release, we’ve focused on just a couple new features.

Features in Management Reporter RU4 include:

• Option for Dynamics SL users to take advantage of an Management Reporter data mart optimized for financial reporting
• Ability to include Dynamics AX Budget Planning data in Management Reporter reports
• Quick Links in Management Reporter Web Viewer, allowing report viewers to easily jump to key areas of a report
• Performance improvements in Dynamics AX and Dynamics GP data mart integrations
• As usual, we’ll also be fixing several bugs. Right now, the count is up to 35 but there will be a few more before we ship

  Would the Data Mart support for SL take care of the problem with slow performance for reports with large trees (100+ units)?  Currently that's keeping many of our clients from dumping FRx for MR.

  Is there any new functionality to handle the issue of various report versions piling up in the database that cause the size of the database to grow exponentially?  We have a client that the database continues to grow by hundreds of gigabytes, requiring a manual deletion of data on a daily basis. Thank you.
