Thursday Session

Collaboration and Productivity – A Look Inside the Microsoft Solution

Collaboration has become a vital piece of infrastructure for companies.  Come to this session to get an inside look at the Microsoft Collaboration story.  We will look at some of the great new features of SharePoint including integration capabilities with the new Office 2010 suite as well as back-end collaboration and integration with SQL 2008 R2, Communications Server and of course Exchange Server.  We will take a look at Outlook 2010 and many of the great new collaboration features available when using the latest servers on the back-end.  We will look in some detail at SharePoint and the best of the new features of this document management and collaboration platform including synchronizing to take this content offline.  We will dive into search and look at building and finding company knowledge.  Finally we will look at Office Web Apps and the new capabilities in the latest office productivity suite client application and specifically how it integrates with SharePoint.
